Who we are

OCF Enterprises is a property management company operating furnished room rentals in Hilliard, Ohio. This policy covers information we collect when you contact us about a rental, including by text message.

What we collect

When you inquire about a rental, we collect only what is needed to respond and to evaluate your inquiry:

• Your name and the contact details you give us, such as mobile number and email address
• Your stated move-in date, desired length of stay, and which room you are interested in
• Your answers to our standard rental qualification questions
• The content of messages you send us

We do not collect or store your Social Security number, driver's license images, bank account details, or payment card numbers. Where a background check, identity verification, or payment is required, it is handled directly by a third-party provider using their own secure systems, and we receive only the result.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and answer your questions
• To determine whether a rental is a fit for you and for the household
• To arrange a tour or a meeting with current household members
• To prepare a lease if you decide to rent
• To keep records of our rental application process

Text messaging

If you text us, we will text you back about your inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages from us, or HELP for help.

Who else sees your information

We use third-party service providers to operate the rental process:

• A messaging provider, to send and receive text messages
• An email provider, to send and receive email
• A tenant screening provider, if a background or credit check is required. You deal with them directly and enter your own sensitive details into their system, not ours
• An identity verification provider, if identity verification is required. The same applies
• An electronic signature provider, if you proceed to a lease

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep a record of rental inquiries and the decisions made on them for up to three years, so that we can show our rental criteria were applied consistently. The full content of messages is deleted after twelve months.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us below. Some records may be retained where we are required to keep them.
